Rachel Osbourne (née Dingwall) joins Asbicon to further strengthen its European operations

Asbicon has appointed Rachel Alexandra Osbourne as Associate Senior Consultant for its European operations. Rachel holds over 18 years of extensive experience in the FMCG industry and Online Retail. Previously, for over 9 years, she was a part of Procter & Gamble Healthcare and Pets Food Division handling Sales and Trade Marketing in Europe. She is currently the Founder and Joint Managing Director of Mutley & Mog, an online pet warehouse in UK. In her new role, she will be working directly with Asbicon’s Managing Director, Ankur Shiv Bhandari & European Director,Paul Lettice.

Asbicon in partnership with Kantar Retail successfully delivered capability development program on ’Building Sales & Commercial Capabilities to a UK based global Consumer Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals company

Asbicon focussed on knowledge sharing through case studies where Key Account Managers were put in a real life situation in order to think through and arrive at an optimal solution. This approach helped to induce an increased engagement among the participants.

Further, the training will be supported by a ready reference mobile app to ensure embedding & retention of key principles.

Asbicon signs and initiates an engagement on Development of Sales & Commercial Capabilities

Asbicon in partnership with Kantar Retail has signed an agreement with a UK headquartered Multinational Consumer Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals company for development of Sales and Commercial Capabilities of their Key Account Managers and Customer Marketing Teams for Modern Trade channel.

The capability development will focus on developing Commercial Selling & Structured Negotiation skills, defining PoP Vision and its role in influencing shopper intent. Asbicon will also develop a customized app to communicate the training content to the delegates in a consistent way. The app will serve as a ready reference material on phone and will further augment the training program with retention and application.

Asbicon celebrates 6 years of excellence

To mark 6 years of operational excellence, Asbicon held its leadership meeting at its Chandigarh office in India. The meeting was headed by Ankur Shiv Bhandari, Managing Director, along with Directors Paul Lettice, Nimisha Chhabra, Aditya Bhardwaj and Associate Director Terrance Niranjan Abraham.

The discussions lasted for 2 days and were revolved around Asbicon annual theme, i.e., Focus 2015, Accelerate 2016, and Broaden 2017. The leaders aligned to reinforce exciting actions and explore new strategies to drive stronger performance and global growth.

The leadership meet also served as a platform for Asbiconians across locations to participate in several team building games, exercises & activities to further boost morale and teamwork.

Asbicon in partnership with Kantar Retail initiates second phase of ‘Distributor Engagement Transformation’ Capability Development to one of the world’s leading cereal and snacks company in Zagreb, Croatia covering more than 15 countries in Eastern Europe

Post a successful completion of ‘Distributor Engagement Transformation’ Capability Development in 15 countries across Middle East, UK and Mediterranean, Asbicon starts another expedition to conduct similar programs for partners in Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia, Kosovo, Bosnia, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Romania & Poland.

The sales transformation training will revolve around four key business processes -Trade Promotion Management (TPM), Forecasting, Order to Cash, & Reporting. Asbicon will help distributors in their on-boarding and will train them about the usage of the new sales system adopted by the client to achieve its vision and the relevance of the existing business process.
The client further intends to involve Asbicon in the future extension of this project to other parts of the world.
